Thad Foster was born and raised in Parker, Arizona on the CRIT(Colorado River Indian Tribes) Reservation. Growing up among Chemehuevi, Hopi, Mojave and Navajo he was exposed to many cultures and different viewpoints. Thad has spent 40 years in the entertainment industry: from hosting radio shows and programming, to performing live worldwide as a country music recording artist; from producing artists in the recording studio to sound scoring for television and movies, as well as sweetening audio for various media projects. While earning a Bachelor of Science at the University of La Verne, CA, Thad produced a weekly syndicated OPM(Original Philipino Music) show that was broadcast in several Mega Malls throughout the cities of Cebu City, Manila, Quezon City, Makati, Pasay and Baguio in the Philippines.(He speaks Tagalog.) While on tour in Europe Thad was often asked to sit in on country music radio shows and co-host. He enjoyed this immensely due to the opportunity to share American Culture and country music. Thad also served in the United States Army and traveled extensively while in the service, further broadening his horizons and fueling his desire to explore different cultures and meet new people. Thad looks forward to meeting Hualapai and learning the language and culture! He aims to bring a positive and happy experience to the listeners of KWLP weekly on The Morning Hoedown and Tuesday's hosting Just Can't Get Enough. |
